Quickborn Consulting has successfully completed the Galeries Lafayette’s GlobalONE Oracle Retail implementation project for the satisfaction of the Galeries Lafayette and its end users. Quickborn Consulting led the GlobalONE project with Galeries Lafayette IT department and supported all the steps of this implementation from the design to the roll out in 9 months, thanks to the Quickborn Consulting Oracle Retail Fast Track Implementation Approach.
In 2009, Quickborn Consulting was awarded as prime contractor for the GlobalONE project at Galeries Lafayette. During the project, the previous legacy system was replaced in Galeries Lafayette’s German head quarters and in the Berlin department store by Oracle Retail applications. All the modules of Oracle Retail ERP software have been deployed: Oracle Retail Merchandising, Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management, Oracle Retail Price Management, Oracle Retail Invoice Matching, Oracle Retail Sales Audit, and Oracle Retail Data Warehouse.
“We chose to partner with Quickborn Consulting because of its highly flexible and efficient team of professionals with whom we have collaborated for several years. Our GlobalONE project consisted of deploying the ensemble of Oracle Retail modules that are already in production in France in our operations center in Berlin. Quickborn Consulting respected all the functional, technical and time objectives and succeeded to support our Berlin organisation transformation with a very limited impact on the day to day business workload at our Galeries Lafayette Berlin activities.”, said Laurent Singer, IT Director of Galeries Lafayette.
“We were delighted that Galeries Lafayette selected us as prime integration partner for the GlobalONE project. The project was a true success; our fast track implementation approach enabled us to deploy, on time and on budget, all Oracle Retail modules in 9 months. In addition of transforming and optimising the entire value chain of Galeries Lafayette Germany deploying the retail cost method, we succeeded in merging two different business models into one single Oracle Retail instance in a multinational environment”, said Gábor Tőzsér, Founder and President of Quickborn Consulting. “We will further expand our commitment and resources to support Galeries Lafayette in ensuring the reliability and performance of their software applications in their department stores in France and in Berlin”.
