We attended Tech Show Paris
Our team is thrilled to attend one of Europe’s fastest growing premier technology expos, the Tech Show Paris, in the heart of beautiful Paris, held November 5-6 at the expo halls in Port de Versailles.
Event Overview
With over 6,000 visitors, 250+ technology and solution vendors, and 290+ conferences, the 2-day event is quickly growing in relevance and depth in the European technology scene. Companies learn about the latest technology trends in a broad spectrum of industries and network to exchange ideas, experiences, and the latest news.
QBCS’s Objectives
Although our primary focus when visiting the expo is networking with our retailer clients, partners, and prospects, we also spend time to catch up on the latest trends in the industry affecting retailers, and solutions available to address challenges relevant today and tomorrow.
Key Focus Areas for Retailers
1. Accelerating Adoption of Advanced Technologies
Fundamentally, we have seen two key areas emerging as top focus areas for retailers of all verticals: accelerating adoption of changes with the application of advanced technologies, and protecting the security of the organization and its customers.
The focus on accelerating adoption of new business capabilities is an age-old challenge for retailers in an accelerating world of consumer expectations. Finally, technology solutions are beginning to gain speed in addressing those evolving expectations faster than ever before. AI has a huge spectrum of applicability from supporting every step of the customer journey to making better business decisions better in the day-to-day execution across the business. The race to creating AI-based solutions and adopting them for improving business outcomes is a dominant topic today.
2. Strengthening Security Measures
Security is under increasing pressure because governments are mandating stricter requirements for businesses to comply with standards, which in turn are driven by evolving threats that leverage AI and quantum technology to outpace security measures in place today. Identifying and addressing security problems has become a high-priority and urgent task for all businesses.
