As part of our social responsibility initiative, we have decided to take part in a program called ‘Adopt a nursery school’ in Hungary. The aim of the program is to provide support for kids in need.
The specialty of this program is that the donation goes directly to kids by the help of teachers of nursery schools.
After registration we were informed that our adopted nursery school is a Kindergarten in Egerbakta, a small village close to Eger, Hungary. The organizers gave us the contact details of this Kindergarten and we reached out to the headmaster who provided us with a ‘miss-list’, a list of basic items that are needed the most.
During the last 2 weeks our colleagues in our Budapest and Eger offices collected boxes of clothes, shoes, books, craft tools, toys and hygiene products for the little children of Egerbakta kindergarten. On 5th December we visited the nursery school and handed over the assembled donations personally to the delight of all children and teachers, who were thankful and overjoyed at the same time.
Our collaboration with the kindergarten is more than just a one-time donation, it is a permanent contact and support for the children and staff there. We are in the process of organizing further events in the near future as well for helping children and teachers in need.
