Kirkland’s, a leading specialty department store retailer of home décor in the United States, who has partnered with Quickborn for support of the Oracle Retail Platform has now also initiated support for Oracle Retail’s Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning and Item Planning solutions. Kirkland’s started support with Quickborn on Oracle Merchandising solutions Retail Merchandising System, Retail Price Management, Retail Sales Audit, and Allocations after their go live in October 2012.
Quickborn has been involved with Kirkland’s to enhance the Oracle Retail Planning applications over the course of the last year. Quickborn has been providing business processes suggestions, such as the best practice management of carryover items, as well as making changes to the configuration and the infrastructure to implement those suggestions. Quickborn has also been providing enhancements designed to accelerate the performance of the applications.
Quickborn has previously been supporting Kirkland’s in integrating Oracle Retail Merchandising System and other Enterprise Resource Planning applications and legacy systems via the Oracle Retail Integration Bus. Quickborn also provides 24/7 systems monitoring, incident detection and recovery support services for the entire set of Oracle Retail Applications in production at Kirkland’s and providing system fixes and enhancements including performance enhancements.
